ROAD RESTRICTIONS

Third Order – March 27, 2026

 **** Please be advised that, according to our Bylaw No. 2024-5 , from March 1 to October 31 of each year, the speed limit on P.G. 604 and 605 for vehicles with a combined weight of vehicle and load over ten (10) tonnes is 80 km/hr  **** 

All roads in the R.M. of Browning No. 34 (excluding exemptions listed in Bylaw No. 2024-5) are set as nine month primary weights, as set under Saskatchewan Vehicle Weights & Dimensions Regulations.  The NEW time frame (as set by Saskatchewan Highways)
is January 1 through to March 15 & June 15 through to December 31 of each year.
March 16 through to June 14  is secondary weights.

**Please Note – The office does not calculate your vehicle weights for permits**

All Overweight Permits MUST be sent to the R.M. office at least 24 hours in advance. The Division Councilor reviews and recommends the route that must be adhered to.   All equipment must be listed on the permit application and will be charged according to the RM policy. In the event a Permit is required outside of office hours, please contact the applicable Councillor below for approval. The R.M. office will email it on the following working day indicating which Councillor provided verbal approval.
